THEIR STORY

Being an extreme pragmatic, i have never believed in the concept: "There's only one person for you". Frankly, i thought it was all hogwash.
Finding Christ did help me see that it was possible to find the bone of your bone and flesh of your flesh, but i always figured it wasn't for everyone, definitely not for me.
That was until i found that indeed missing rib ; Temitope Ogunseitan. I have now been fully converted as i have become a genuine case study. She is easily the ying to my yang, the calm to my storm, the voice of reason to my outburst. I feel like the luckiest man alive.
It is funny how it all started, believe it or not i was actually initially advising a dear friend on how to hook up this fine church sister..... I look back now and i thank God i was such a lousy instructor.
I remember the first time Ope Taiwo pointed at her after church and asked, "how far with her?" My exact words were, 'NAH! She's too fragile, i need me a warrior.' What ensued over the following months was a love/union crafted at the very spinning wheel of God himself. Firstly, he made me see myself for who i truly am, exposed the flaws in my outlook towards having a partner and slowly but surely showed me, that which i sought in Sokoto (State) was already in my Sokoto(Pocket Trouser).
With each passing day i find even more reason to fall and stay in love with this beautiful princess. Her warmth, constant glow and ever dotting,caring and pleasant attitude are a constant source of strength. There are a lot of wonderful ladies with angelic qualities but there are few who exhibit these qualities both internally and externally
Everyday, i look forward to the amazing journey that is our lives together. While i do not have the love at first sight type of story to share, what i do have is how a trust in God, longing from my spirit and absolute chemistry all contrived to lead me to the most perfect girl for me.
I am indeed blessed.

We are both workers at Harvesters international Christian Centre although we were just Hello-Hi friends. But overtime we became friends.
We grew closer and started sharing personal information. I literally knew everything about Seun but never thought we would end up dating, I even thought he was too muscular for a “smallie” like me and that ruled out any chances of us dating then but I found a friend in Seun and that was all that mattered at that time.
He soon became a regular visitor in my house, I thought this move was suspicious but I never mentioned to him. I only told my friend (Oye) about one “church brother” that is always checking on me and we laughed over it.
Fast forward to August 2013, on my birthday to be precise, Seun called to wish me happy birthday and then he finally let the cat out of the bag. He made his clear intentions known, he wanted us to have a defined healthy relationship..hehehe
Seun wasn’t interested in dating for dating sake, he wanted more than anything else to please God.
I remember the smile I had on my face that morning, I wasn’t expecting it even though I had on a few occasions thought it wouldn’t be a bad idea as my Seun is not a regular guy. *let me explain that*
My Seun is HOT!! a stunning dresser lol...but his commitment and devotion to God attracted me more and that of course made him irresistible #wink
Moving on, Love made its way into the picture, I had my insecure days, Seun made it clear that he has chosen me and nothing was going to change that! Scary right? But I believed him and never had any reason to doubt him. I was certain Seun’s love for me was genuine because his actions repeatedly showed it. Our Love grew; selfless Seun made me happy and was always there for me. #Gosh
Seun expressed in different ways what it means to Love and not hold back. Instead of “killing me softly” he “brought me alive softly”. I became more vulnerable and for once I was okay with it.
It wasn’t always easy and we had to learn to depend on God together. We refrained from physical intimacy, deepened our friendship, learned about each other’s values and goals. We grew closer to each other and ultimately grew to love one another deeply.
There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown (complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! I will always tease Seun about Ijebu guys not being Romantic until February 8, when he proposed, and out of over excitement I was like "yes-no, yes yes" lol .I didn’t esperridit!!!
Now Imagine a guy so focused on God that the only reason he looked up to see you is because he heard God say “that’s her” #wink .
Seun is my bestie, my Lover, I can’t imagine spending my life with another man …God set us up and we are indeed a match made in heaven.
